July 22 - Friday we all went to the Door County Maritime Museum. We were given guided tours of the museum and their current exhibit "Pirates." Many choristers enjoyed the museum gift shop. We then boarded pontoon boats for lunch and boating on Lake Michigan and Green Bay. Mr. Dahlquist, Mrs. Dahlquist, Mrs. Wagner, Mr. Appel, and Mrs. Rosenbaum served as our boat captains. It was beautiful on the lake, sunny and in the 70's.

We then headed to Bay View Church to practice, back to our hotel to change and then back to the Church for our concert. Parents and all of Brenham would have been so proud of their choristers. They sounded awesome. Everyone in the audience was thrilled and commented on our talented choristers. Their exemplary conduct was commented on by everyone.

Then we were back to the hotel for a special treat. One of our Brenham admirers' and supporters, Allen Commander, had sent us Blue Bell Ice Cream. We shared a scoop with the hotel clerk who promptly stated "It was the best I ever had". Well of course it was - it was Blue Bell!
