July 23 - Saturday morning we filled all the empty spaces in our luggage. We went shopping in Sturgeon Bay and after a very quick lunch headed for Southern Door Community Auditorium.
We spent the entire afternoon from noon to concert time at 7:00 p.m. rehearsing with the other children from three school districts in Door County.

During dinner, they prepared for us, the Door County directors had designed a special t-shirt for the concert and we all autographed each other's shirts before we entered the stage for the concert.

Our last concert was beautiful and received a standing ovation. We had a chance after the concert to mingle with the other kids and their families before returning to the hotel to pack for an early departure (6:00 the next morning)

Everywhere we went we were asked to return. To hear some of the comments about every phase of the Chorus presence and performance you have to be extremely proud of what they accomplished and their individual conduct.

I cannot believe any group could have left a better impression or for us to have a greater sense of pride than what we had with these children.
