Thursday, morning we were up bright and early. We loaded the buses and were off to Appleton. We attended a Choral Clinic at Lawrence University. Our instructor (a University Professor and internationally renowned clinician for choral organizations) taught us new ways to make our singing come alive. What an honor and so much fun. After the clinic we went to Old Country Buffet for lunch. Toward the end of the meal a waitress came to us, got our attention by saying in a very loud voice "I want your attention." She then went on to say that the entire staff wants to say how wonderful they (the children) are. "We did not have to clean up after them, there was nothing dropped on the floor, and you were all very courteous. You (the children) are the best we have ever served in this restaurant." This was the comment everywhere.

We then boarded our bus and were off to Sturgeon Bay. Along the way we stopped at Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers. We were able to take pictures and shop. Then back on the bus and to our new hotel. We went to a terrific restaurant for dinner, PC Junction. Your food was delivered on a model train that circles thru the restaurant and the cook was dressed as the train engineer. Then we were off again to Peninsula State Park where we enjoyed a performance of "A Cabin with a View" an original musical at the outdoor American Folklore Theater.

As we were traveling from PC Junction we reached the top of a hill with the waters of Green Bay in front of us and the Chorus began singing "For the Beauty of the Earth". All of our traveling group were the guest of the theater and prior to the performance we were introduced and the capacity audience was told of our 2 concerts to take place in the evening of the next 2 days. We even had to wear our sweatshirts. It was cool outdoors.
